RIGHT-OF-WAY GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
This project involves the groundbreaking agreement between the NYC Department of Environmental Protection and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSO) using a hybrid green and grey infrastructure approach. This innovative approach involves green roofs, blue roofs, bioswales, rain gardens and other types of green infrastructure.
KAGE’s Community Construction Liaison is responsible for the coordination between the project and the community including the community boards, Business Improvement Districts garden associations and the general public.
