Gregory Edward Kapica


Mr. Kapica has over 10 years of experience on NYCDDC projects. He has worked on projects that include sewer and water main replacements, roadway reconstruction and appurtenances, and sidewalk replacements. He has worked his way up from Community Construction Liaison to Office Engineer. This experience makes Greg uniquely qualified to handle multiple facets of a project. He is committed to providing a high level of service and is focused on meeting the project intent while maintaining budget and schedule.


As an Office Engineer, Mr. Kapica’s responsibilities include processing and reviewing of progress payments, monitoring project budgets and schedules, preparing correspondence and documents related to projects, scanning and archiving project documents, assisting the Resident Engineer, ensuring all contract work is in compliance with contracts, preparing change orders, cost estimates and over-runs, preparing field cards using Visio software, logging tap cards and spurs for house connections, coordinating water shutdowns and water sample test results, writing minutes of meetings and daily, weekly and monthly reports on progress of project.
