Kara A. Blanchard is the founder of KAG Engineering, PLLC (KAGE).

She began her career in 1994 providing engineering services for highway and drainage design projects, including planning, design, construction inspection and project management. She acted as the lead design engineer on numerous municipal, private and state owned projects.

Ms. Blanchard has her Civil Engineering degree from Villanova University, and her Masters Degree from Dowling College. She started as a construction inspector for the Connecticut Department of Transportation and then was brought into the Highway Design group where she was recognized with an Award of Engineering Excellence and a Team Work Award.

In 2000 Ms. Blanchard returned home to Long Island and worked for a consultant as a lead highway designer, supporting the firm in all aspects of engineering.
