PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project involves the reconstruction of Bogardus Plaza to provide permanent improvements to a temporary plaza. The plaza is located on Hudson Street from Reade Street to Chambers Street in lower Manhattan. The project has five main objectives:
Merge the current temporary plaza and green space
Create a neighborhood focal point
Define a space for community events
Provide a place to linger
Enhance pedestrian safety
​KAGE’s Office Engineer is responsible for all office duties following strict DDC project protocol on a construction project. These duties include coordinating project meetings, ensuring the project remains on schedule and on budget, organizing project files, managing the payment information management system and submitting the Contractor’s payments.
KAGE’s Community Construction Liaison is responsible for the coordination between the project and the community including the community boards, Business Improvement Districts garden associations and the general public.
