The Project involves Design-Build services for the NY 347 - Mount Pleasant Road to Terry Road. The Project is located in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, New York. It consists of the widening, reconstruction, and creation of a Greenway corridor along NY Route 347 from Mount Pleasant Road to Terry Road. It includes: widening of NY Route 347 with additional travel lanes and shared use pedestrian and bike paths; landscape design integrating adjacent properties to create a seamless Greenway; sound wall design and installation; relocation and/or preservation of existing Utilities; pavement reconstruction including; paving, pavement markings and traffic signalization; installation of pedestrian lighting; installation of roadway signs; installation of new utilities to support services for the new DMS, pedestrian lighting, and traffic signals. Two-way traffic will be maintained on NY 347 during construction requiring the design of Pre-Stage 1 to Stage 3.
