This project involved the design of 23 traffic signals, 10 traffic cameras at 39 intersections in Long Beach, NY. The design includes communications to the Traffic Management Center in Westbury. The design work included the preparation of a detailed Technical Design Report [TDR], ADA Report, and Detailed Design Services and Construction Documents. The design team evaluated all existing curbs, curb ramps and driveway aprons within the project limits, proposed repairs/replacement of deteriorated cross-sections and addressed all necessary drainage issues. Pavement marking design was also provided.
