This project involved the upgrade of 125 signalized intersections to improve pedestrian safety along various county roadways. The project consisted of the  installation or replacement of all non-countdown signals and push button assemblies, replacement or refreshment of crosswalk markings, sidewalk ramp replacements, drainage modifications and sign relocations.

Engineering services required for this contract included Preliminary and Final Design Phases, including 125 traffic signal plans that conform to current SCDPW, NYSDOT Standards and the Procedures for Locally Administered Federal Aid Projects Manual.
